One of the many guitars on display at the Studio
This guitar is special to Dave because he was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force, having served during the Vietnam era conflict as a radio operator with a Top Secret clearance. His youngest son, Kevin, is currently serving in the United States Marine Corp as a communications specialist.
Waiting area
The one negative comment that has been said about the waiting area is "This furniture is way too comfortable!" There are plenty of magazines, tea, hot chocolate, lemonade with a hot and cold bar dispenser for everyone's enjoyment.
Cool Catt Store
For students in sixth grade or under, points are earned for every lesson. Those can be spent in the Cool Catt Store. It is always well stocked with anything and everything for the boys or girls. This is a great opportunity for them to stay motivated and instill a sense of accomplishment for their efforts.
Hands on Instruction
Every lesson is tailored to the specific needs of the student. Over time certain songs have become guitar standards, and the student is encouraged to learn those songs.
An emphasis on Technique
Technique is one of the most important aspects of taking lessons. This is the foundation for chord structure and transition between chords or notes. Dave will focus on technique and explain why so it makes more sense to each student.
Over the years, Dave has aquired a number of unique and amazing guitars! Here are some examples.
